With young people of Bishop Sutton Youth Centre
The Water Memories Making History project engaged with young people in a rural youth club, involved them in setting up a Steering Group and nesa facilitated and supported them to roll out the project to a total of 200 young people across B&NES. The young people were empowered to take an increasing role in decision making. They used traditional arts and crafts and their local heritage to inspire the making of a range of contemporary artefacts such as willow baskets and ceramic pots. The documentation of the process was produced into a stunning publication of their work 'Water Memories Making History'. |
